Join Equip and Rock Recovery for a free networking and brunch event at Northside Social! Tana Luo PhD (Equip) and Heather Clark, LPC, LCPC (Rock Recovery) will co-present Treating Eating Disorders in Teens & Emerging Adults: Getting creative with a family-based approach, followed by dedicated time for Q&A.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the basics of Family-Based Therapy for adolescents and emerging adults with eating disorders.

  2. Anticipate and address obstacles to integrating the family into treatment for adolescents and emerging adults with eating disorders.

  3. Learn how to adapt treatment plans to accommodate varying client presentations and social contexts.

  4. Understand how to build a robust support team for the client, including professionals and non-professionals.

*Equip is accredited by the American Psychological Association to provide Continuing Education Credits for this activity. This activity has been submitted to the Commission on Dietetic Registration and is pending approval.
