This one-of-a-kind annual gathering celebrates our incredible clients and raises critical funds to support our life-saving eating disorder therapy and support services! Meet our guest speakers:
Dr. Ovidio Bermudez, M.D. - Keynote Speaker
Dr. Ovidio Bermudez is the Senior Medical Advisor for Eating Recovery Center and affiliates. He holds academic appointments as Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine and University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He is Board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
Dr. Bermudez is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, the Academy for Eating Disorders, and the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals. He is Past Chairman and currently Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors of the National Eating Disorders Association, Co-Founder of the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee and Co-founder of the Oklahoma Eating Disorders Association. He is a current Board member and a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and training supervisor with the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals.
Dr. Bermudez has lectured nationally and internationally on eating pathology across the lifespan, as well as many topics related to pediatric and adult healthcare. He has been repeatedly recognized for his dedication, advocacy, professional achievement and clinical excellence in the field of eating disorders, including Lifetime Achievement Awards from IAEDP.
Stacy Huston - Guest Speaker
Stacy Huston is a renowned social impact expert and executive leader, celebrated for her contributions as a producer and keynote speaker. Stacy is the Executive Director of SixDegrees.Org, a charity founded by Actor and Philanthropist Kevin Bacon, and serves as the Executive Producer of their #1 podcast, which inspires action through powerful storytelling.
As CEO of Entertain Change, she spearheads a social impact agency dedicated to creating transformational solutions by collaborating with entertainers and organizations. Stacy's expertise and impact have been recognized internationally, with features in leading industry podcasts and publications. Creator of the CRAFT Method, she works with groups to build deeper and more meaningful engagement through a 5-step principled approach. Honored with the Harry Chapin Humanitarian Award, she is a driven leader, committed to making a difference daily through strategic philanthropic efforts.
