The Rock Recovery community and Pure Barre Clarendon Team (EDA Week 2022)

February 27th - March 5th is Eating Disorders Awareness Week! Each year, we celebrate this important week to honor and bring light to the millions whose lives are affected by disordered eating and raise critical awareness about this important mental health issue, in the hopes that we can enact real change for ALL who suffer.

At Rock, we love to celebrate and honor our bodies with joyful movement! Join us as we team up with Pure Barre Clarendon on Wednesday, March 1st for a 50-minute, body-honoring barre class. All fitness levels are welcome!

After the class, stick around for post-event snacks as we dive into how a healthy self image can affect all parts of your life and what you can do to support others on their own body acceptance journeys. No prior barre experience is needed to enjoy the class - just bring a water bottle and a friend!

Registration is $20 for this event. All proceeds from this event will go to support Rock Recovery’s therapy programs which offer low-cost, accesible care and community support to those who struggle with disordered eating and body image.

For questions about this event, email Kristyn Soto at info@rockrecoveryed.org.

Note: This event will take place at the Pure Barre Clarendon location in Arlington, VA. Capacity is limited to 20 attendees for this class.

Special thanks to our event partners!
