Hi, I’m Stephanie! I am Rock Recovery’s Clinical Director and I provide individual therapy. If you’re looking someone to help you explore the underlying issues to your disordered eating, look no further! I would love to meet with you virtually or in-person at our offices in Arlington, VA.
As a Therapist, I take an empathetic, nonjudgmental approach in meeting each client where they are at. I bring in my training as a Marriage and Family Therapist by taking a family systems approach, often exploring how your childhood impacts who you are today.
I have over 10 years of experience in treating eating disorders in adolescents, adults, couples, and families. All of my work is from a Health at Every Size® and relational perspective. I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) modalities.
I am person-centered, and work to build healthy connections with each of my clients so you can feel safe to do the deeper work that is needed for recovery. I help to gently push you out of your comfort zone, which is where the real work and true healing can happen! Furthermore, all of our treatment at Rock Recovery is inclusive and trauma-informed.
My goal is to help you explore and discover the underlying causes of your disordered eating, and help you work towards living a life more in line with your true values.
